Unfortunately no ‘4 smalls songs’ this month, instead I’ll be looking at Chema64’s VIZIERS. A bit of context, Chema64 is an LSDJ artist who resides in Mexico City, Mexico. For his music he solely just uses Nintendo Gameboys, creating a mayhem of different sounds. As well as that, Chema64 also founded 56kpsrecords, a netlabel whose goal is to promote chiptune music. Before I begin reviewing, this is the first time I’ve listened to Chema64’s music and I must say it is probably one of the most hard hitting, glitched music I’ve heard, all whilst still containing a groove through out and pouring some sweet WAV dubstep into the mix. It’s hard to believe that all this music has actually been done entirely on LSDJ.

Frank here with another installment of Inside The Daякcнip Mind. This time around I’ve brought something that’s extremely unique and flows so well that you would think it was just one big song! I really enjoy listening to this and recommend it if you plan on going on a adventure on foot. Very cinematic and expansive, the album & artist I’m speaking of is KOOL SKULLS‘ ‘B8KDBRKZ‘.
Whenever I think of the late 90’s and early 2000’s, I think, “MistakesWereMade.jpg should’ve been my coat of arms,” just like many other young nerds who didn’t fit in anywhere. However, to others, it was a magical time where people were pioneering the new ways to access music, communicate, and pretend you weren’t ugly with the help of tilting a camera. The album in which I came across happens to be an album remembering nicer times of the early 2000’s, and after the jump, you can compare this to your current Top 8 and see who you’re bumping off to make room.
Hey, Frank here with another installment of Inside The Daякcнip Mind. This time I had the opportunity to get hold of an album a few weeks before its release, but, even after that first listening, I didn’t realize how great it truly was till I put it on my phone & spent some quality time with it, looping the music while going on random walks. The album has a very intense overall feel, with the layers of vocals & bass being pretty damn intense as well. The album & artist I speak of is Solid State Diaster‘s newest release ‘My Skin So Thin.’
Hello! Frank here again, back with another installment of Inside The Daякcнip Mind. This time I felt it necessary to talk about something a bit different, and not so dark. Although it still has those big bass hits, grimey pulses & all the other goodies that make your skin tingle! Lately I’ve been doing nothing but looking into A LOT of artists that use Nanoloop, and damn, have I found something that flows oh so nice: ‘Obsidian‘ by Cheapshot.
