Chiptunes = WIN: Volume 8 [Tracks 31 – 40]

Everyone has a high-pitched scream reserved for something, and I have to confess I had one especially loud waiting for this moment. That’s right; the time has come for me to write about some quality tunes. So let’s put the long introduction aside and let’s take a look over ‘Chiptunes = WIN: Volume 8’, tracks 31 to 40.

Every year, ChipWIN releases a compilation of 51 of the best chipmusic tracks of the year, and every year it continues to impress. In case you haven’t been tuning in over the course of the last week, here on The ChipWIN Blog we also happen to review every track from the compilation. A daunting task indeed, but it’s our way of saying thanks to the many people involved in this continuously expanding project. Shall we?

A Square Meal: ‘Sine Sleep Session EP’ by Saitone

Posted by

When a long day finally comes to an end, there are just a few things we can say are ‘universally pleasant’: taking your shoes off, laying on the bed with your face on the pillow, drinking or eating something, playing some music, or taking a shower to name a few. Thinking on those little pleasures sometimes is the reason we hold ourselves together and keep going through a hard day. This time I want to bring to you a tremendous EP that would be useful in a situation like the one I just described – I’m talking about ‘Sine Sleep Session EP’ by Saitone, released through Future Disorder.

THE CLOVER AWARDS: 2018

The new year is in full swing – MAGFest has come and gone, Chipwrecked is preparing for another great lineup, and we’ve already got a few fun 2019 chiptune releases! But such an active community also makes for a lot you may have missed, and I’d like to give the last year a final sendoff before moving onto this one. I’m proud of the work I did in 2018, but there was a lot I didn’t get to talk about as well. This scene is bursting with music to enjoy and appreciate, so while I can only cover a small portion of it, I’d like to try and spotlight some tunes that deserve the attention.

Naturally, I will be doing this in the silliest way possible.

Aydan Appreciates: ‘Lonely Idiot’ by Imaginary

Hey ChipWINners! I’m excited to kick off the year here on the blog with an article about an artist whose work I’ve reviewed a few times in the past – Imaginary! Released under the fledgling Catskull Records label while I was in Italy on my honeymoon, ‘Lonely Idiot’ initially flew under my radar, but an email from the artist alerted me to its presence. I’ve listened through the album a few times, and am excited to share a few choice tracks with all of you! Let’s get started!

Charla tecnológica de Paul – LSDJ 5.0.0 – Nuevos comandos. ¡[F]tW! (Parte uno)

Artículo Original de PainPerdu. Traducción al Español por Pixel Guy.

Hola, gente.
